Compliance and
Risk Management
Compliance and risk management at Ceybank operate across multiple levels. The Board Risk Committee oversees the overall risk framework and key risk parameters, while the Risk & Compliance Officer monitors specific risks, including investment and operational risks.
The Compliance officer is also responsible for all other compliance issues related to the Investment Funds as well as the Management Company. This ensures adherence to SEC Rules and regulations.
Marketing and Distribution
Network
Ceybank leverages the Bank of Ceylon's nationwide branch network as its primary distribution channel. Regional offices are located in key cities including Kandy, Galle, Kurunegala and Negombo enhancing accessibility and enabling deep penetration of capital market products to the broader population. Ceybank continues to align with BOC to maximize synergies and take Sri Lanka’s capital market to the grassroots.

The management of Ceybank Asset Management Limited is vested in the Board, comprising eight Directors with rich experience and expertise in the financial sector in Sri Lanka and abroad.
Manilka Fernando
Chairman
Banking and finance professional with over 40 years of experience in Sri Lanka and overseas. Currently Chairman of Ceybank Asset Management Ltd and former Non-Executive Director at Bank of Ceylon, Laugfs Group, Pership Group, Softlogic Group, and CEPA.
Sadasivan Girishkumar
Non-Executive Director
Former Chairman & Managing Director of the HMT Group of Companies in India. Also held senior leadership roles at Hindustan Photo Films and Tungabhadra Steel Products Ltd with expertise in financial management, corporate strategy, and public sector governance.
R M N Jeevantha
Non-Executive Director
Deputy General Manager (Development Banking & Branch Credit Operations) at Bank of Ceylon with wide experience in treasury operations. Holds an MBA (PIM) and a BSc in Accountancy (Special). Senior Fellow Member of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka.
G A Jayashantha
Non-Executive Director
Deputy General Manager (International, Treasury & Investment) at Bank of Ceylon with experience across offshore banking, retail banking, and risk management. Holds an MA in Financial Economics and a BSc in Business Management.
A D Perera
Non-Executive Director
Deputy General Manager – Life (Technical) at Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Ltd with extensive experience in insurance. Holds an MBA, a BSc (Honours) in Physical Science, and is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner.
W S Kulasinghe
Non-Executive Director
Acting Chief Financial Officer at Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Ltd with over 22 years of experience in audit and finance. Fellow Member of CMA Sri Lanka.
